Mrs. Annie Payne Lancaster, 93, died Sunday, March 7, 2010.
The funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 1:30 pm at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Vanceboro. Burial will follow in the Vanceboro Cemetery.
Mrs. Lancaster was born on November 2, 1916 in Hyde County and was the daughter of Annie Weston Payne and Bill Payne. She married Robert S. “Bob” Lancaster of Vanceboro, who preceded her in death in 1994.
She is survived by her: son, William M. “Bill” Lancaster and wife, Joanne, of Tacoma, WA; daughter, Bobbi Lancaster, of Raleigh; grandchildren, Will Lancaster and wife, Michelle, and Alison Lancaster Moran and husband, Sean; and great-grandchildren, Shayla Lancaster and Gavin Moran, all of Tacoma, WA.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro.
