Mr. Joe Wilson, 80, died Tuesday, March 09, 2010.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 2 pm in Pinewood Memorial Park in Greenville.
Mr. Wilson, a native of Jasper, Alabama, was a graduate of Walker County High School. He served in the United States Air Force, made his home in Greenville in 1972, and managed Sunny Side Eggs until 1995. He was a strong supporter of athletics in Pitt County and ECU Pirates.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sallie Wilson.
He is survived by his:
wife, Louise Evans Wilson;
son, Jeff Wilson and wife, Sheila, of Pinehurst;
daughter, Lisa Wilson, of Greenville;
grandchildren, Tyler, Justin and Jessie Wilson;
brothers, Don Wilson, of FL, and
Buddy Wilson, of AL; and a
sister, Jeannie Jent, of AL.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
