Mr. Charles Jeffery Stocks, 49, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 7 pm at Red Oak Christian Church.
Jeff, a Pitt County native and lifelong resident of the Red Oak Community, was a 1979 graduate of D. H. Conley High School. Jeff was employed for several years with the city of Greenville where he reached the position of Street Division Supervisor I. He was also co-owner of Big Charlie’s Vegetable Farm. Jeff had a passion for farming and was best known in the community for his love of anything John Deere.
He is survived by his:
parents, Charles and Frances Stocks;
sister, Connie S. Taylor and husband Robert;
half-brother, Mitchell Lane Andrews; and
fiancé, Tina L. Farmer, all of Greenville.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
