Obituary for Thomas Ray Edens

Mr. Thomas Ray Edens, 91, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 in Kingsport, TN.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 1 pm in Pinewood Memorial Park.
He served in the U. S. Navy for 20 years, retiring in 1977. He was employed as a mechanic for a number of years at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Hazel Williams Edens.
He is survived by sisters, Wilma Montgomery of Phoenix, AZ,
Jean White of Johnson City, TN and Nancy Alsup of Elizabethton, TN;
sons, Tommy Burleson and wife, Nancy, of Kingsport, TN and
William Ray Moore and wife, Lois, of Tarboro;
daughter, Tammy Mobarry and husband, Clark, of Gaithersburg, MD;
grandchildren, John and Jimmy Burleson of Kingsport, TN,
Eric Bateman and wife, Leta, of Tarboro,
Michelle Langston and husband, Chris, of Snow Hill,
Amy Vause of Tarboro,
John and Scott Mobarry of Gaithersburg, MD and
Michael Edens, Jr. of Greenville;
great-grandchildren, Tristan Bateman and Natalie Vause.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-A Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
